Matt Hardy attended Monday's WWE Raw in North Carolina

Matt Hardy attended WWE Raw last night.

The event took place in Raleigh, North Carolina, not far from his home in Cameron, North Carolina. 

Reby Hardy posted a video of her and her husband in a private suite at the show.

Hardy attending last night's show was addressed by our own Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio. 

Meltzer said:

He lives in Cameron which isn't far from Raleigh. It's his area. Him going to Raw is not really a big deal. Posting the video, kind of changes it a little bit. His contract with AEW is coming due as well. 

Alvarez added that "it's not frowned upon to be there in the crowd at this point."

"That's not necessarily a big deal. The posting of the video is a bigger deal," Meltzer continued. 

Hardy revealed on his podcast recently that his AEW contract expires this month and they are "in the midst" of negotiations. 

Fightful posted a report on Tuesday stating that Hardy did not meet with anyone from WWE while there. Matt and Reby were invited to sit in a friend's suite at the PNC Arena and attended the show for about 90 minutes. 

Michael Cole referenced Matt and Jeff Hardy's match at WrestleMania 25 on commentary last night when speaking about Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40.
