Tottenham Hotspur capped off the winter transfer window promisingly by signing Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall on deadline day.

Spurs secured the midfield talent on a five-year deal from Djurgadens IF for a reported transfer fee of around €10 million.

As agreed, Bergvall will join the Lilywhites in July, remaining on loan at his current club until the season’s end.

The teenager has been in top form, scoring a brace earlier today against Nordic United in a Svenska Cupen match.

Bergvall’s second goal of the evening was a masterpiece, as he received the ball in his half, dribbled past almost half of the opposition side single-handedly, and slotted it past the goalkeeper.

With each passing game, Tottenham fans eagerly anticipate the youngster’s debut in North London next season.
